Learn about NDIS providers ↗Psychosocial disability
Psychosocial disability describes disability arising from a mental health condition when the impact substantially affects daily functioning. A diagnosis alone does not describe the person’s support needs.
Functional impacts may occur across communication, social interaction, learning, mobility, self-care and self-management. They may also fluctuate over time, which makes flexible and consistent support particularly important.
